Artist's Comments

I like rehashing. (surprise!)

I was playing around some more with the same Klonoa model that I finished up a longer time ago. I'm happy with the result, though.

Too bad the model isn't the best one there is - so moving it around leaves one helluva polygon mess. Oh well - I'll have next week reserved for vacation ^^ - I've already started on the new one.

Nice rendering. Where's the brim of the hat? I can't see it at this angle?

Umm... It oughta be there, but it might be hiding behind from that angle.

*checks scene*

Yup. It's behind there, sorry. %)

That's what I figured. The hat looks kinda funny when you can't see the brim. Nice work. :)

*has done some art of the King...* That's some really great work there! What do you use to make those models? I mean, I know of some, but none that can do such a beautiful or smooth image. Please, share your secret ^_^
:iconbega:
I've used discreet's ([link]) 3D Studio MAX 4.2 for modelling. I'm still sticking around with a 3 year old workhorse ^^

The smoothness is a result of the lighting - there's a huge huge (in size) light that shines down on the scene, which makes a soft shadow for him, and all the light around make him look so smooth.

Or.. er. Something. xD Kindof hard to explain, but it's not as difficult as it may appear to be. ^^
